What do you get when you combine a soft and sophisticated scent with bespoke Venus-inspired illustrations? Our newest candle, that’s what. Introducing: An ODE TO WOMEN, a limited edition candle created as a tribute to the wonderful women in our lives whom we most admire and adore.

The fragrance itself is a soft amber, featuring calming lavender (a note often associated with the warmth of womanhood), sweet white honey and bright candied citrus. You’ll pick up cashmere essence (sometimes called cashmeran or blonde woods), an accord so magical it can evoke the comforting sensation of being wrapped in super-soft cashmere wool. It boasts fruity, spicy, chypre, balsamic and vanilla notes, meaning it adds a layer of complexity. Fun fact: Cashmeran also helps to amplify the lavender note in the fragrance.

To create the vessel, we teamed up with artist Weronika Anna Marianna. Best known for her collaborations with international brands like Loewe and Goop, Weronika’s work is an introspective look into the private worlds of women. For our An Ode to Women 2021 collection, her goal was to celebrate the beauty of the female form in all of its iterations. This sentiment is echoed in the empowering tagline that adorns the back of the glass vessel: “Here’s to strong women. May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them.”
